For this year’s brief competition, students are tasked with developing advertising campaigns for either TOMS, the non-profit PartnersGlobal, or BMW. The Portfolio Competition is an opportunity for students to submit the best work from their portfolio.
Students with portfolio work in any of the 10 categories:
Advertising • Animation & Visual Effects • Experiential Design
Film / Television / Video • Game Development • Graphic Design • Illustration
Industrial Design & Product Design • Photography • Web Design / Interactive / UX/UI
Students must be 18 or older and currently enrolled as a full-time student in an accredited institution worldwide. They must provide proof of current registration at certified university, school, and/or portfolio program. If graduating, it must be within the academic year of the competition (September 2016–May 2017).
The cost to enter is $60 USD.
To qualify for entry, national and international college students must be enrolled in an accredited undergraduate or graduate college program, or other program approved by The One Club’s Education Department. Submissions to the competitions are judged based on creativity and originality.
Winners are awarded during the Young Ones Education Festival, held each May in New York City.
