Global competition for excellent experiences.
From March 8th to May 31st companies, agencies, professionals and up-and-coming designers worldwide are invited to submit their best work for the UX Design Awards 2021.
The UX Design Awards are a global competition for experience design honoring the huge impact of accomplished experience design on shaping a positive living environment for all.
The UX Design Awards are organized by the International Design Center Berlin (IDZ), a leading German institution promoting design as a driver of innovation in business and society.
The UX Design Awards 2021 will comprise four competition categories:
- Product – for the professional sector
- Concept – for the professional sector
- Vision – for the professional sector
- New Talent Award – for young designers
A jury of renowned experts will nominate outstanding solutions and select winners.
The UX Design Awards jury consists of leading design and industry experts.
May 31st 2021: Deadline for registration and project submission
June: First Award Level: Nomination
Review of all submissions by the jury, admission of a limited number to compete for the awards.
June-July: Second Award Level: Jury Sessions
Jury sessions to determine the award winners in the categories Product, Concept, Vision and New Talent, bestowal of the Gold Awards.
June: Preparation PR campaign: Nominated projects
Update of PR data for all nominated projects, opportunity to submit additional PR collateral.
July-September: PR campaign: Nominated projects
Launch virtual exhibition, start mixed-media campaign on social media, press work.
July-August: Voting campaign: Public Choice Award
Public online voting among all nominated projects in the virtual award exhibition.
Early September: Announcement of UX Design Awards Winners
Announcement of the winners in all award categories, highlighted presentation in the virtual award exhibition.
September-December: PR campaign: Award Winners
Mixed media campaign in social media and virtual events, press work.
