Design denmark præsenterer: Transformative collaborations
Members of Design denmark now have the chance to join us for these two unique cases of designing with a content-first approach.
9.00-9.25: Moomins – a content story
By focusing on the innate storytelling qualities and Scandinavian values expressed in the Moomins stories Roleff Kråkström and the team within the Moomin Characters Group has created a collaborative strategy that has turned the Moomins into a billion-dollar business almost entirely without marketing spending.
9.25-9.50: H.C. Andersens Hus – designing from the inside out
Together with Japanese Starchitect Kengo Kuma, Henrik Lübker created a vision of a new type of museum growing from the storytelling traits and values inherent in Hans Christian Andersen’s literature. The museum (opened late 2021) has become a form of spatial storytelling not quite seen before that blurs the boundaries between reality and fantasy, revealing the unusual in the usual – the poetry and magic in all things around us and within.
